Your privacy settings determine what you allow others to see on your profile. To make changes to your privacy settings go to your Home then Settings then Privacy and you will see this form.
We recommend that you leave the privacy settings as broad as you are comfortable with. This will allow more users from our community to get to know you and increase your likelihood of finding the perfect travel companion.

To chat with other members we offer 2 different options:
1) A group chat which you see listed on the top bar of your “home page” called “chat”. This is a group chat which means everyone in the community will see the chat.
2) To have a private chat you have the option to Skype® with others. From your home page under Settings there is a Skype area, all you need to do is place your Skype name in this area and set the setting to “Show to Everyone” or “Show to Favorites”. This will allow you to have a private chat with people to get to know them better before you meet. One advantage of Skype is that you can do video chats.

Yes, you may however, for your security we suggest you keep the generated password that is emailed to you. If you would like to change your password, go to your “home page” – settings then account and from there you can reset your password to anything you would like.
Please make sure your new password strong and not easily guessed by others. It is also best not to use the same password that you use on other accounts.
You will not be able to change the username you registered with but you can change the password and your email address at any time.
Yes, in your “home” area simply click on media and in there you will see photos and videos, select which type you would like to upload, click on browse to find the file on your computer, click open and then the upload button.
To add photos you first need to create an album name. Do this by clicking on create album in red area at the top, then choose a name and click add album. After album is created you can then click on photos then add them the same way as videos. You just click on browse, then open and add your photo. You will need to make sure that the album name is chosen.
When on your “home” or members page click on Extras then Blog and from there you can start writing your blog posts.
At this time, we don’t have the option to add photos to your blog post but you can add them to your pictures/albums which is under media in your “home”.

The most important thing to remember is to trust your instincts. If feel something is not right – listen to your feeling.
Never give out too much personal information i.e. credit card information, home address, etc. Always let your friends and family know when and where you are meeting a potential travel companion. When you plan a trip provide friends and family with a detailed itinerary and check in during the trip.

The first thing you are going to want to do is fill out your profile questions. It may seem like a lot of questions but it’s really not that bad and should take you only a couple of minutes to complete. We ask these questions to help you find the best travel companions for your upcoming travel adventures.
After you complete the profile questions you will want to go into (from your home page) your match alerts area and turn on that feature with your preference. This will enable you to start to receiving emails from potential companion matches.
You will also want to go into your settings area to set up preferences on what you would like to be notified about. Make sure to save that.
From there start searching, you can search buy many different criteria so it’s best to just take a look around.

Yes, you can actually do either or both. If you feel someone is harassing you, you can certainly report them to the administration by simply clicking this button found on the upper right side of the individual’s profile.
We will look into every claim and take action where necessary.
Another option is to block any individual from contacting you or viewing your profile. Block them by clicking this button found on the upper right side of their profile.
Yes, no problem, simply do a quick search. All you will need is their user name and leave everything else how as is.
All you need to do is go to your “home page” (click members if you’re not already there) and click on advanced search. From there it will ask you some of the profile questions you filled out and will then match you with people who have the same interests.
Once you find a travel companion that appeals to you, simply click on this icon to add them as a friend. They will be sent a friend request. You can also click on this icon to add them to your favorites or this icon to send them an email.
Important: From your home page, go into your Matches Alerts and save your preferences so you will receive emails from all your matches as well.
Yes, it sure does. We need this information for our unique algorithm to find you the best travel companions. It only takes about 2 minutes to complete the profile questions and is well worth the time invested.
